Daily Duties at Lowe's Companies Inc:
I transitioned to the IT Service Management team with the directive to build out the IT transition to production process building off the work I performed at the IT Service Desk within the ITIL framework and methodology. Paramount to this was meeting with Business and IT stakeholders to identify gaps in the multiple processes that were being used at the time for Service Introduction or Release Management. Through collaboration with stakeholders we created a standardized process using ITIL framework for all our stakeholders. This included Strategy, Introduction, Knowledge Transfer, Production Readiness and various other artifacts. My team looked at Critical Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators to track progress. We incorporated our process into the BMC Remedy system utilizing their Release Module. We partnered with the Enterprise Stage Gating team to ensure our Service Introduction Strategy was included into their Enterprise process. Currently all projects of 500K or more budget go through the process my team created.
