Daily Duties at The Toro Company:
Managing a yearly fiscal budget of $4million dollars with a variance of -0% / +2% of original planned budget, responsible for daily safety of all 34 department personnel, monitoring monthly department expenses in SAP to ensure all spending balances are within original plan, .negotiate binding contracts with union personal, edit and modify training procedures for state approved apprenticeship program for four approved working classifications within the department, ensure new product design projects are on track and meet milestones, ensure prototype parts are manufactured for new innovative projects, manage and set scheduling lead times for part manufacturing in the department, ensure all OSHA and safety required training . Administer yearly reviews and merit to management staff employees, initiate capital purchases and ensure an appropriate (ROI) return on investment meets company requirements
