Daily Duties at Hypower Inc.:
Corporate Safety Director. Authored the company safety policy and employee handbook. Managed all claims, worker's compensation, vehicle, general liability, builders risk. Provided employee training in a variety of safety topics including; Lock out/Tag out, Excavation safety, Forklift Operator, Scaffold Safety, Flagger, Fall Protection, Digger Derrick/Bucket Truck operation, etc. Audited projects around the country for compliance with Hypower's safety policy and tracked monthly safety performance by superintendent. Additionally responsible for ensuring we met all Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) requirements on all of our Davis Bacon (prevailing wage) projects.
