Daily Duties at St Jude Medical, Inc:

Advise and Consult with Interventional Cardiologist, Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgeons as well as all remaining staff members on all the technical and clinical aspects of the clinical management of the surgical and congenital structural heart patient. This would include percutaneous closure or Hybrib OR approaches of heart defects which include the following: Atrial Septal defects, Ventricular Septal Defects, Patent Foreman Ovale Defects, Patent Ductus arteriosus defects, vascular embolization, Perivalvar Leaks, Post Infarct VSD closures. I have also been trained with Percutaneous TAVR procedures as well as surgical Valve procedures such as Aortic, Mitral and tricuspid repair and/or replacement. I have been trained in Heart failure (Cardiomems) and currently serve as a trainer for ICE, (Intra Cardiac Echo) for St Jude Medical. I have participated in Triple A and Vascular graft’s with Amplatzer closure devices on multiple occasions. I conduct wet heart dissection labs as a valued added education over the anatomy and physiology of the heart to cardiac catheterization lab staff, surgical staff, and actively help train physicians in regards to the clinical management of structural heart diseases. As a Senior Structural Heart Clinical Specialist, my role also includes the training of new Sales Representatives and Field Clinical Specialists for St Jude Medical, Inc.
