Daily Duties at Carmike Cinemas:
My two jobs at Carmike were Concessions and Door. When I worked Concessions, my job was to sell movie tickets and concession snacks. Management placed a very high premium on associates’ ability to “Up-sale” (i.e., persuading customers to buy more/larger products), and I developed the ability to perform at high levels for this task. Working at “Door”, I cleaned the theatres, cleaned the restrooms, and disposed of trash.
