Daily Duties at 89th Contracting Squadron:

Leads 16 professionals in the award/administration of commodity and services contracts valued at $65 Million annually. Directs acquisition support through advanced planning, solicitation, negotiation, award, contract administration and closeout. Ensures acquisition procedures are in compliance with regulations, instructions, statutes, and other higher Headquarters' guidance. Serves as chief business advisor and warranted contracting officer to various partner units. Leads 7 professionals in the award/administration of commodity and services contracts exceeding $20 Million annually. Directs acquisition support through planning, solicitation, negotiation, award, contract administration and closeout. Ensures acquisition procedures are in compliance with regulations, instructions, statutes, and higher Headquarters' guidance. Serves as chief business advisor and warranted contracting officer to various partner units.
