Daily Duties at 7th Contracting Squadron:
Manages acquisition of $45 million in vital requirements supporting 41 units, 5,500 members and assets valued at $14 Billion. Responsible for the career progression, mentorship, and operation of 32 contracting professionals. Solicits, negotiates and administers long-term contracts; manages 500 base-wide Government Purchase card holders. Deploys trained Contingency Contracting Officers of all ranks to support worldwide contingency operations.
