Daily Duties at Mapfre:
I have the responsibility of leading and managing software engineers both on premise and offshore on $5M-$7M projects to implement multi-states. Team size varies between 30-50 on-shore and/or off-shore resources. In this role I am in constant negotiations with vendors. I work closely with multiple areas across the company, with Product, Marketing, Finance, Stats, Underwriting and Legal to ensure successful timely delivery with all in-scope items. Under my leadership we have launched extra-large projects within budget and on time with minimal issues. This has resulted in new business growth to exceed projected premium and policy counts.by more than 6%uct, Marketing Reps, Finance, Stats, Underwriting, and Legal) and staff to identify automated solutions to meet business needs including, overseeing definition, development or acquisition, and implementation of automated systems to support functional areas.
