Daily Duties at Siouxland Ethanol:
*Supervise the maintenance management staff and conduct performance reviews of workers and technicians *Provide strong leadership and technical expertise to maintain existing procedures and drive continuous improvements *Resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve conditions and operations of machines and equipment *Assist and guide the maintenance workers in carrying out maintenance and repair work *Maintain all maintenance shop equipment and repair/replace them to ensure proper functioning *Ensure whether all maintenance employees follow the prescribed safety policies and guidelines *Recommend ways of improvement and expansion in the current facility *Maintain records and track work orders, spare parts and maintenance history of equipment and others through a computerized system *Designed and have documented manuals to simplify the work for the maintenance department *Implemented a preventative maintenance program *Coordinated installation of equipment on new construction and expansion projects
