My responsibilities include directing all services & solutions-oriented proposal and business capture activities. This includes the following functions: • Overseeing and directing the Business Capture Team (Proposals and Capture), assessing and providing direction and overall process improvement for the department, • Working closely with Sales Executives and Client Executives to successfully coordinate and manage major proposal efforts, identifying needed proposal team resources, timeline and action planning, managing proposal teams, facilitating evolution of proposal strategy (such as competitive analysis), developing win themes and technical approach, selecting and negotiating with teaming partners, attending win/loss debriefings and developing lessons learned. • Planning of overall department objectives, writing select proposal/pre-proposal pieces, coordinating the internal team and partner inputs for bid efforts, and assisting in broader bid preparation and production aspects. • Supporting final technical and cost proposal production, as well as guiding proposal team through necessary unit-level and corporate bid reviews, compliance reviews, protocols, and decisions. • Ensuring vital flow of communication and task management between Proposal Teams, Capture Managers, Sales Executives, Client Executives, Contracts, Operations, and other parties involved in the proposal process.
