Daily Duties at Navy Federal Credit Union:

1. Review all mortgage loan types; purchases and refinance, VA, FHA, Harp, Conventional 2. Reviewer system distributes a loan to a mortgage reviewer. 3. Audits loan by verifying income, insurance hazard and flood insurance to determine if insurance coverage is within acceptable levels, preliminary title work, termite, well and septic inspections if applicable, appraisal, purchase contracts, private mortgage insurance, approval from VA, FHA and HARP on these typical loan. 4. Ensures compliance with established guidelines and federal regulations. 5. Identify circumstances where additional documentation maybe required; private roads, trust documents, buyout agreements. 6. Determine loan is eligible or is not eligible for approval 7. Communicate to the mortgage loan processor documentation requirements by completing review sheet providing a detail explanation. 8. Incorporate in the review provide location for processor to research the proper regulation or guideline. 9. Loans sent back to processor for documentation or corrections are returned to the initial reviewer. Verifies the loan is complete, is in compliance with established guidelines and federal regulations. 10. Approval issued.
