1. Supported 1 Sales Manager, 2 Salesmen, Owner and General Manager to implement projects awarded by gathering all pertinent information; customer and project name, mix design, sales tax, starting date, price, contact information. 2. Searched multiple applications providing current construction plans, building permits, news reports of construction projects, and county building permits in locating projects. 3. Researched internet sites for architect’s construction plans. Evaluated plans locating specifications for ready mixed concrete. Obtained specifications for each project. Composed, organized and prepared relative data. 4. Placed projects on Outlook calendar, reminder when project bids/submittals due. 5. Responded to request for mix design submittals. Provide relative documentation for the specific request. 6. Prioritize, formulate and distribute bids to contractors appearing on the project documents. From 1 to 20 potential bidders. Distribute by fax or email. 7. Follow up to determine who was awarded the construction contract and supplier. 8. Complete a backlog report with plant, project name, address, owner (if applicable) approximate yards, start date and determining the stage of the project; pre-bid, post bid, awarded, lost. 9. Setup, monitored and tracked individual projects using a backlog system.
