Daily Duties at Legal Resources:

Audit and process payable expense reports, credit card statements and invoices of over $250,000.00 monthly Process vendor payments, including domestic and foreign wires, ACH, and checks. Resolve payment issues, amended payments, positive pay inquiries, voids and reissues, etc. using established guidelines and bank online software. Authorize payments for services and validate that services have been received Analyze, identify and categorize payments for appropriate 1099 and 1042 reporting requirements. Respond to all IRS Penalty and Discrepancy Notices accurately and timely. Lead role for tracking and conducting annual year-end project Identified discrepancies in reviewing monthly credit card statements as well as over 15 expense reports Ensure financial transactions are performed in accordance with GAAP and are maintained in audit ready condition Research invoice discrepancies for overages, tax accrual and processed invoice batching on a weekly basis Spearheaded and managed 100% digital maintenance of accounting reports including 1099 vendor information
