Employed by the company to manage Healthcare Informatics and act as a CNIO at the same time to improve resident’s quality of life and patient care through implementation of healthcare information technology (HIT). Promote excellent care provider-resident-family relationship by providing data analytics of quality measures that must be addressed by the facility allowing them to create an appropriate plan of care for the residents. Analyze and develop use of software applications and expand functionality of clinical platform application (CareVoyant) to improve organization’s efficiency and effectiveness in providing a quality patient care. Maintain application functionality through customer-vendor coordination in troubleshooting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) issues. Monitor all support ticket requests and liaise for resolving EMR issues. Evaluate clinical workflow for determining efficacy improvement and be able to translate the process into computerized system/method. Develop new system processes to assist with clinical improvements. Follow through, update and train management and floor staff on all corporate policies and system upgrades. Create, update and implement clinical assessments and notes through EMR as needed. Assist in improving each facilities PI’s and QM’s. Maintain facility’s quality star rating through random audits and checks of data in the MDS module. Prepare all facility for state survey through mock inspection (random chart audits, EMR data quality and integrity inspection, and med-pass).
