Daily Duties at Healthland, Inc.:

Responsible for the implementation of a suite of EHR software for use by Nursing, Physicians, Respiratory, Rehabilitation, and other Ancillary departments within a community hospital setting. Included initial Kick Off meetings to discuss upcoming implementation requirements and expectations for hospital staff, administrators, and implementation staff as well as demonstrations of the software to all departments within a hospital setting. fined module within the software utilizing vendor’s Ancillary module requiring redesign of many Charge Master items to work within the EHR software system to correctly notify department of new orders and process the attached charge as appropriate. Responsible for validation testing to ensure menus functioned as designed and modify said menus where needed if issues were found during testing. Responsible for training hospital department managers or their representatives on system functionality and interaction between modules including Order Entry, wn documentation (if used); ancillary department training on the functionality of their respective modules including Diagnostic Imaging, Respiratory, Rehabilitation, Nutritional Services, Environmental Services, etc. Responsible for system configuration to ensure the needs of the facility were reflected correctly and efficiently within the EHR platform. Responsible for remote go live support for each implementation as they conducted their own go live. Directed the development, installation and training for third party programs such as Exit Care for the discharge instructions given to patients at the time of discharge. Included assisting facility to redesign their Logo to fit within the limitations of the program, ensure all current discharge instructions were correctly reflected within the Exit Care program by modifying electronic documents to reflect hospital specific information and create new templates where no comparable version existed.
