Daily Duties at Vision Consulting:

Assist Team Build activities for Client Facilities in Meditech Pharmacy Module for Meaningful Use Stage II, CPOE. Extract data from client dB utilizing NPR reporting functions within Meditech. Format extracted data into Excel Spreadsheets to prepare data for build activities, including reformatting medication names to mesh with First Data Bank nomenclature and to improve ease of use for physicians during the order entry process. Modify client Meditech dB replacing current medication nomenclature with re-formatted entries. Identify any non-standard data retrieved from client dB, editing client dB to match standards and requirements, if needed, under guidance of Pharmacist Team Lead and Project Lead. Assist new employee orientation and education as to function of Meditech and the VSC. Attend training sessions and meeting as needed/required for assigned projects. Upload completed reports and spreadsheets to VSC Share Point. Lead initial consultation, implementation planning, custom system configuration within CHS Corporate standards. Training in Build and Use of HMS/MedHost for Facility Coordinator, Super Users and End Users and post-implementation support for client End Users during the Go Live process for Clinical Documentation for all areas of a hospital, assisting the learning process for documenting Inpatient and Outpatient health information.
