• Primary responsibilities include investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling complex property damage and bodily injury claims of high value. • Communicated on a frequent basis with attorneys, beneficiaries, policyholders, hospitals, law enforcement, claimants, and insured parties involved. • Attended depositions, mediations, and trials for files that are in litigation; reviews policy details and state laws to determine coverage and prepare specialized reports of findings. • Applied firm negotiation skills to develop complex settlement packages that minimize company liabilities. • Proficiently conducted Evaluation of Claim and Bills, and made Liability Decisions. • Investigated claims against insurance or other companies for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages and attempts to effect out-of-court settlement with claimant • Established and maintained high level of positive working relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring satisfaction with insurance services. • Worked directly with customers and guided them through the claims process and negotiated fair and equitable settlements.
