Daily Duties at Battelle:
• Oversaw the mar/com team’s development and implementation of communications approaches critical to Battelle’s business strategies, particularly in the areas of driving business growth and building advocacy and reputation at the regional, national, and international level. Managed five full-time staff members, ensuring staff conceived of and employed diverse communications strategies and processes. • Also was responsible for overall strategic marketing communications plan development and implementation for Battelle’s energy business. This involved considering Battelle’s energy business direction and external influences such as client needs and competitive environment and, based on these factors, developing and implementing communications strategies to position the organization, its initiatives, and business focuses for success.
