Daily Duties at Well Point, Inc.:
• Directed planning, budgeting, vendor selection and quality assurance efforts for the following diversified business and operations functions across enterprise level projects: • Medical Management Operations • Enterprise Cross-functional business and IT platform project management • Migration and integration of newly acquired state level Blue Cross Blue Shield entities • Continuous Process Improvement • Enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery • Vendor relationship management, including off-shore team management • HIPPA & SOX based Regulatory and Compliance projects • New Facilities Construction and Remodeling • Corporate Facilities management • Enterprise Print Mail operations • Enterprise Procurement • Directed all phases of enterprise-wide and multi-state integration and centralization of strategic cost saving projects as the senior project manager responsible for implementing within budget (timeline and financial forecast) cross-functional projects consisting of IT / technical requirements and Business / Operations requirements. • Directed as the lead senior project manager multiple projects simultaneously, from large multi-year projects to mid-level less than six-month deliverables. o Average # of projects managed simultaneously: 6 large to mid-range length of projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $3MM-$5MM
