Daily Duties at Balfour Beatty Communities:
Advanced to manage business operations of established property and facilities management company with accountability for providing financial oversight, budget planning, and project reporting for multiple locations. Developed a high performance 8-member accounting team responsible through feedback, training, coaching and mentoring for preparing/reviewing monthly financial draws, journal entry adjustments, accounts payable, contractor and professional service agreements, and monthly reporting, including complete project reconciliations. Analyze, track, develop and maintain forecast budget on a per-site basis monthly and quarterly. Compile diverse range of reports and documents, including Design Build Agreements, executive summaries, incentive fee request, Project Owner’s Change Orders, and Draws Against Contingency. Administer all aspects of the award process to include the development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) , service agreements awards, change orders, review incoming and outgoing RFI requests for accuracy. Monitor compliance with submittal requirements and ensure validity of insurance; conduct due diligence follow-ups and maintain logs. Complete quarterly site visits to assigned projects across the US. Build and foster relationships with client representatives, architects, engineers and sub-contractors to establish project requirements, budgets, specifications and schedules.
