Daily Duties at Autotrader.Com:

Coordinated initial requirements gathering meeting with stakeholder followed by proof of concept meetings with SAS, Microstrategy or Visual Science developers and assisted in identifying data sources needed to meet stakeholder’s requests. Analyzed possible solutions for stakeholder’s request and helped identify the best solution in cases where more than one solution was presented. Effectively communicated feasibility of request to stakeholder and negotiated deliverable time lines and scope of request. Coordinated weekly meetings to identify and prioritize future BI projects and give status updated of projects in freight. Coordinated and managed adhoc requests presented to BI team on a daily basis to provide information in less than 24 to 48hours. Worked with UI designers in projects that involved updating ATC and documented changes in order to identify web tagging strategies, ETL and Log capturing methods for the new changes. Worked closely with and assisted BI QA team to ensure proper QA on new events captured from Apache logs. Solicited reporting requirements from stakeholders and created requirement documents (BRD, SRD/FRD, traceability matrix) with report mock ups, report attributes and metrics, SAS data sources, updates on site tagging and redirector codes. Presented documentation to development, stakeholders, UI design, QA for approval Document Management - For every new report developed, I provided a report definition document for ease of report interpretation by stakeholder. Managed documents in sharepoint. Facilitated review sessions with IT and stakeholders to ensure everybody understood project purpose and scope prior to sign off on documentation. Worked with external vendors to identify processes to receive data to ATC databases for future reporting purposes. Participated in UAT testing prior to delivery to ensure report accuracy and presentation. Worked on process improvement initiatives for the team, for example the work flow intake process and work tracking process which made it easier to track project status and communicate effectively to stakeholder.
