Daily Duties at Safe Sites Of Colorado:
I was the Decommissioning/Deactivation (D/D) Industrial Hygiene and Safety Manager for Safe Sites of Colorado. Responsible for managing, coordinating and directing Health and Safety programs during D/D activities to comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Oversaw and provided support to over 250 employees. Provided field safety oversight leadership to project D/D teams and directed oversight of environmental safety and health (ESH) implementation during cleanup and/remediation, and chemical/radiological decontamination and building demolitions. I also conducted audits and assessments to evaluate existing program and field construction projects. He also supervised, implemented and worked directly with field personnel on numerous construction, remediation and demolition projects. As the D/D Industrial Hygiene and Safety Manager, the team and I safely demolished and decommissioned 20 buildings on schedule and without a lost work day incident.
