Daily Duties at Opcc:
Reporting directly to the CEO of $3.5M nonprofit. Successfully overseen companywide human resources function at local nonprofit serving homeless population throughout Los Angeles County; spearheaded merger of two very significant nonprofit organizations. Directed staffing process – forecasting, conducting needs assessment, compensation strategies, onboarding/off boarding. Designed and presented management-training programs ranging from first-line supervisors to senior management teams to facilitate understanding of employment relations, diversity issues, employment law, recruiting, and organizational development. Initiated human-resources reporting system to update field managers, senior managers, and board of directors on progress of human-resources goals in areas such as recruitment, turnover, employee retention, recruitment cost, benefit cost, cost-savings efforts. Handled all aspects of Employee Relations from investigation, mediations, negotiations and resolution. Benefits and Compensation Program Administration
