Performed genetic screening for RAC GTPase interacting molecules and identified molecules with functional redundancy in neuronal migration and axon pathfinding in C. elegans. 1) Genetic screening for knockouts in live system nematode C. elegans. 2) Construction and maintenance of genetic and transgenic strains. Phenotypic and expression analyses in mutants and transgenics in C. elegans. 3) Behavioral studies in response to various environmental signals. 4) RNA-mediated-interference (RNAi) in various strains of C. elegans. 5) Gene cloning using standard molecular biology techniques.
