Daily Duties at Cal Peak:
Operated up to 14 industrial gas turbine engines simultaneously for electrical generator operation to the grid from a remote control room following all applicable government regulations and laws. Followed California Independent System Operator orders to initiate Peaker power plants, coordinated with the local power company, and the State of California as to generation levels of operation. Synchronized generator sets to the grid. Assure that all emissions systems were calibrated, functioning properly, and reporting to the State of California. Supervise all personnel at all power plant locations.
