Daily Duties at Aecom:
The central point of contact to the stakeholders and the contractors for the program scope and execution. Represents the department for the project or program related meetings. Plans and defines the program goals and devises methods to accomplish them. Oversee the establishment and implementation of the Project and Program management plan from inception to the project close-out. Develops, monitors and implements the project scope, schedules and budgets to achieve high performance goals that meets Airport Authority’s goals and objectives. Develop and directs implementation goal and objectives to ensure the success. Monitors & reports the project or program progress to the leadership. Leads coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders and regulatory agencies, contractors, architects and engineers, other consultants and inspectors involved in the project. Resolves sensitive, confidential and controversial issues and secure buy-in decision making achieve for the project success. Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned projects or program. Build effective teams, encourage strengths and addresses deficiencies. Contributes to the preparation and negotiation of the contracts and procurement process (RFQ/ RFP/ Bidding), Negotiates the changes to the scope with the contractors and manages the cost control and validation process. Evaluates and Integrates and the performance of the contractors, architects and engineers, all other consultants. Field responsibilities include payment to the contractors and consultants and labor relations. Promotes safety first approach and approach to zero accidents on the project. Ensures project meets or exceeds the goals established. Promotes excellence on the project through Quality processes for the designer and contractors. Assist in preparation of and monitors performance against the department operating budget and program budget and project or program reports to the Authority’s board Assists in developing, facilitating and administering long and short range programs. Leads the project team(s) and participates in committees. Serves as a technical advisor in formulation of plans, procedures and policies of the Airport’s development department Provide engineering assistance, guidance and recommendations to the peers. Provides coaching and mentoring to the assigned staff. Demonstrates personal accountability, responsibility and initiative and holds team members to the same standards. Provide vision for the project success. Develops total cost of ownership and life cycle cost analysis for the project. Identifies, track and mitigates the risks for airport projects. Champions continuous improvements. Assists and participates in development of Airport Improvement plan(s)
