► Directed 11 employees in operation and related functions of accounting, finance, payroll, accounts payable and cash management departments. ► Maintained vendor and bank relationships, monitored credit lines, and handled banking issues in a timely and accurate manner. ► Was instrumental in due diligence during transition from privately held family business to being sold to an investment capital company. (Goldengate Capital) ► Worked through an ever changing environment with ten different direct corporate reports in ten years and five different brand presidents, along with multiple corporate senior management. (COO and above) ► Lead Haband team through the Orchard Brand Bankruptcy, multiple debt refinancing, due diligence, and several P/L restatements. ► On the team to startup a drop ship program which generated a maintained EBITDA of 24% on drop ship demand. Also on the team to move the corporate offices from Oakland to Mahwah. ► Streamlined operations through automation of manual functions, resulting in annual savings of up to $500,000. ►Provided buying staff with analysis to demonstrate profitability of products; increased company EBITDA from $10M to over $25M in three years. ► Played key role in implementation of private label credit card, resulting in incremental EBITDA of 16%. Centralized the Accounting Department to Corporate with a savings to the company of $300K. Developed a staff of 3, all who worked for me for over 10 years, training and developing them to support the company and have a successful succession plan.
