Daily Duties at Harrris Beach Pllc:
Facilities/Operations of three of our downstate offices which were New York City (Wall Street); Uniondale, Long Island and White Plains Offices. Core competency areas: Communication; Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity; Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability; Finance and Business; Human Factors; Leadership and Strategy; Operations and Maintenance; Project Management; Quality; Real Estate and Property Management; Technology listed below outlines some not all of my responsibilities. Facilities Management - NYC Office Services; Supervised Reception/Office Coordinators; Facilities Operations - Coordinate CPR/AED training and AED devices and kept first aid kits up to date and fully stocked, Managed all daily facility operations not limited to security, fire-safety, office/workstation locations and relocations, insurance, liaison with vendors, buildings management and owners; Preparation of budget of facility/operations with monitoring throughout the year, invoice administration processing and approval. Facilities Project - participate and facilitate constructions projects move-ins, build-outs; Develop and manage projects; such as SOP (Standard Operational Procedure Guides) for front desk and mailroom; participated in management projects as identified by firm management. Spearheaded scan project procedures of incoming mail; Populated website under each location responsible for with relevant documentation such as floor plans, emergency preparedness and updated as needed. Business Preparedness and continuation after an event such as Storm Sandy and involved in the Send Word Now project that alerted and kept staff informed after an event and how to proceed. Leadership and mentoring of direct reports. Stay abreast of best practices in industry as related to facilities and law firms. Conduct site visits. Provide on-call, after-hours support for facility related issues. Initiate corporate sustainability programs that included Practice Green Initiative and activities during Earth Week. Management of relationships with sub-tenants that include sub-leases, billing, repairs, utility cost management. Please see resume for additional responsibilities.
