Daily Duties at Seton Medical Center Northwest – Austin, Tx:
• Provide Nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Care management collaboration with hospitalists to provide the best care possible for many underinsured and homeless -patients. Involve in patient teaching of chronic and acute medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiac conditions, renal, and endocrine related issues. Provided post-operative care and education. Monitoring and administration of IV medications, blood transfusions, laboratory interpretation, central venous access care and management, and telemetry monitoring
