 Preparation of federal tax returns (1 consolidated, 15 subsidiary).  Preparation of 34 state returns (4 unitary, 30 separate company).  Calculation of apportionment and provision.  Account analyses.  Accounting for Passive Investment Companies.  Managed customer compliance with sales and use tax for resale exemption status, which included collecting exemption certificates.  Set up (domestic) new customers in Vertex Tax Decision Maker to account for jurisdiction taxability and then update into SAP.  Analyze the Sales and Use Tax accrual account when calculating each state’s monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.  Prepared and submitted Sales and Use Tax Returns for 17 states.  Calculated and submitted GST Tax Returns for sales in Canada.
