Daily Duties at Hotlz Children's Hospital & The Women's Hospital At Jackson Memorial:

Oversaw 1 Operations Manager and up to 48 direct labor employees - Daily rounding to ensure standards were upheld - dusting in rooms, vacuuming done, public areas kept up, daily burnishing of halls and patient rooms complete (buffing/polishing), wiping of flat surfaces complete, NICU precautions met (New Born ICU crib and isoletes par meets operational need for the day), linen par levels meet standards for patient population, patient satisfaction initiatives in place (animal towel folding, tent cards, sanitary strips on commodes and shadowing of employees to ensure scripting with the patient is occurring), conducting patient interviews at a rate of 10 per day with a specific count of 5 questions the were asked of patients regarding service, timecard review, supply and chemical ordering, corrective action processing, labor force maintenance via labor matrix and position control summary, on boarding of new hires to include department orientation and training, maintenance check of equipment, attending any and all meetings including standing meetings such as Bed briefing, Infection Control Committee, Patient Satisfaction, Holtz Administrative, Senior Administrative, conducting Staff/Employee meetings, Senior level Quality and Emergency Preparedness, other meetings include RCA (Root cause analysis) and Safety meetings, contributing to fundraising efforts - Breast Cancer, American Heart Association, etc., generating patient satisfaction reports and reporting to senior leadership, assisting with construction planning and ensuring that proper cleaning measures were implemented (OSHA and ACHA) prior to occupancy by patient population, I participated in a Media campaign for the facility (I appeared briefly in a commercial and was part of a photo shoot in which posters were placed around the entire campus - photo available)
