Daily Duties at The Lash Group:

• Researched, Investigated, and interpreted health insurance plan language to determine program’s compliance with Affordable Care Act regulations and helped to implement appropriate plan action measures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards. • Responsible for maintaining the most recent regulatory knowledge of state and federal Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, including compliance with federal, state and local laws, and district policies, resulting in improved patient access to prescription drug Aubagio. • Coached and counseled team members and managers in matters related to organization management, relationship management, and task assessments, thereby improving overall team performance. • Provided insight and served as a SME on Medicare, Medicaid, and private commercial insurance for the Area Business Managers and provided reporting information on domestic changes with insurance processes and state/federal regulations (CMS); increased profit margins and contributed to exponential sales increases • Consulted with managers and supervisors to ensure that fair and consistent insurance practices were followed in compliance with state and federal laws/regulations and district policies. • Provided consultation and resolution to Area Business Managers and Regional Business Directors in handling complex issues related to Medicare, ACA, Medicaid, private commercial insurance and HIPPA compliance.
