Daily Duties at Pioneer Medical Group:

Responsible for managing the largest of Pioneer Medical Group’s 9 facilities (Downey), as well as the Lakewood location. Duties included direct supervision of 4 supervisors (3 clinical 1 administrative) and 90+ nursing and clerical staff members. Directly responsible for managing physician practices including: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN (including high-risk and testing), Rheumatology, Ophthalmology & Optometry, Podiatry, ENT, Chiropractic, Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology departments. On call 24 hours a day for building concerns as well as a 365 day a year Urgent Care clinic. Attend managers, operations, quality initiatives, information systems, budget and task force meetings at the corporate level to report on clinic operations, activities and project implementations.
