Daily Duties at White Oak Manor:
I directed all non-medical aspects of nursing home CNAs and nurses (200+ employees), including scheduling and maintaining DHEC compliance. I was tasked with managing the overtime budget to ensure payroll cost control for the facility. I provided assistance with event planning, both for the residents as well as our suppliers to ensure healthy relationships with all parties. Reason for Leaving: Upon my hire, I informed my supervisor (Ruth Walker) that I was pursuing my Masters and would be looking to move up in the company once I completed my program. When nearing the completion of my degree, she looked into what they had available and determined that there was nothing within my field for which I could be recommended, so with her blessing, I sought employment elsewhere.
