Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin:

I was brought over from a previous assignment to review all Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile), and Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR) field support requirements and recommended tool and test equipment. The SNIPER ATP Pod is a targeting pod for military aircraft that provides positive target identification, autonomous tracking, GPS coordinate generation, and precise weapons guidance from extended standoff ranges.The AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) is a low observable standoff air-launched cruise missile developed in the United States. It is a large, semi-stealthy long-range weapon of the 2,000 pounds (910 kg) class. The LONGBOW FCR has a very low probability of intercept. It rapidly and automatically searches, detects, locates, classifies, and prioritizes multiple moving and stationary targets on land, water and in the air in all weather and battlefield conditions from standoff ranges. I established calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. I coordinated with the US Government customer and LM, all Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)/Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) contractual deliveries as well as follow-on audits. I recommended and implemented new/developing equipment and procedures to ensure successful sustainment of fielded systems. I reviewed military handbooks and technical orders for technical adequacy. I assisted our Technical Publications group with managerial and technical expertise in the development of maintenance, engineering and logistics support technical publications. I planned, contributed & developed Product Support Sustainment proposal Basis Of Estimate (BOE)inputs to support new and follow-on contract efforts. I guided the successful completion of major retrograde programs and functioned in a project leadership role for the SNIPER ATP and JASSM Product Support Functional programs. I applied extensive technical expertise, with full knowledge of all related logistic, sustainment and program management disciplines. I represented the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects for budget and proposal inputs and negotiations. Interacted with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between multiple internal organizations. Developed technical solutions to complex problems, and performed as deputy Program Manager/ILS Manager for our International (FMS) customers (Israel/Kuwait/Saudi/Singapore/Egypt), Team Leader and Coordinator for in-country trips to conduct FCA/PCA Audits, BIT demonstrations, Maintainability Validations/Verifications, Site Activations, and all Field Support activities.
