Material Management • Responsible for all aspects of material management from BOM hand off to material ready for production. • Drove YOY PPV savings of 4% of total spend for 5 straight years. Total Savings: $1.2 Million • Developed PFEP methodologies for 80% of material spend and reduce purchases orders by 72%. • Redesigned entire warehouse, stockroom and shipping areas to optimize each process. Implemented daily visual metrics Boards along with GEMBA walks to review the previous days results. • Currently developed and documented an engineering hand off process to reduced errors in materials and production. • Personally responsible for negotiating and placing PO’s for the top 10 vendors by spend. Managed delivery through regular progress meetings. Process Improvement • Accountable for bottom-line results and substantial EBITA challenges • Responsible for policy deployment and strategic objective development • Leader of PPI System deployment and associated activities • Implementation of the Visual Factory across entire operational facility • Responsible for Standard Work implementation. • Leader of PPI activities, including program development, training activities, project leader development, and operational deployment. • Used the following techniques on most Projects; Value Stream Map, TAKT calculations, Gemba Walks, CCF Creating Continuous flow (CCF), Standard Work, JIT Material Flow, KANBAN, Visual Management, Total Production Maintenance and Root Cause Counter Measure.
