Daily Duties at Denton County Mhmr Center:

Provided administrative oversight and direction to the MH outpatient clinic staff. Directly supervises the Nursing and Outpatient Clinic Team, provides clinical supervision to the nursing staff in the integrated program, ACT, MCOT, Psychiatric Triage program and in the Crisis Residential program. Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manage and control cost of medications to ensure budget is maintained. Required the ability to provide patient care; prepare and maintain records; to explain public health laws; to organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing activities and delivery of public health services; to interpret policies and procedures; to interpret healthcare regulations; to recognize patterns of medical necessity treatment; to communicate effectively; and to assign and/or supervise the work of others.
