Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin:
I coordinated and managed all GFE repair/supply support/Sustainment activities to support the F35 USG Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS), Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract requirements and Supply Availability (SA) metrics of: 98% Aircraft Availability, 95% Supply Availability, 97% Mean Time Between Maintenance, and 95% Supply Delivery 24hrs. I guaranteed 100% fill rates for field requisitions to support fleet readiness by setting up and utilizing a Total Asset Visibility (TAV) relational database for customer requisitions, inventory, supply and depot repair management. As a result of superior customer support, and product availability, the company/program received all performance incentive fees for the FCR LCCS contract at a total of $11M yearly. I developed, submitted, negotiated the new 2013-2016 LCCS contract for follow-on support for 3 year period of performance at approx. $31M yr. While employing Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Acquisition Logistics and my Sustainment Logistics experience and knowledge I helped ensure program and product support PBL success. I managed, hands-on daily/weekly all aspects of F35 Sustainment Supply Logistics. I was the liaison between program management, systems engineering, program planning, the customer weapons integrators, line management, and program contracts for overall Sustainment Logistics. I reviewed and managed status of proposal inputs for all LCCS and LRIP contracts from inception to completion and execution. I coordinated action items with Item Analysts/Managers, Engineering, and Fielded Personnel to ensure customer Action Requests (ARs) and Software Problem Anomaly Reports (SPARs) were identified and implemented in upcoming Autonomous Logistic Information System (ALIS) software releases and ensured successful integration into future Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) deliveries by providing engineering and product support feedback and reports to program personnel. I presented status and integration reports to senior, line management, and customer personnel. I assessed project technical issues, identified & lead the implementation for areas of process improvements and developed workable resolutions to meet changing contract & configuration requirements, thus satisfying customer goals, objectives and contract obligations. My team maintained and reported Sustainment program metrics to identify operational deficiencies while establishing root causes and implementing corrective actions to achieve program cost, schedule, and technical objectives. I prepared, presented and submitted Program Contract Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) data and developed & participated in Monthly/Quarterly program reviews. In addition, I Identified areas of improvement in Sustainment Logistics for affordability and efficiency.
What they like about Lockheed Martin:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
