Daily Duties at Att:
Installed and repaired AT&T U-Verse VDSL (video digital subscriber lines) for San Antonio, New Braunfels, Dallas/Ft. Worth, and Houston. Tested and verified digital signal at VRAD, and cross connect box prior to installation at premise. Troubleshot POTS (plain old telephone system) and fiber lines prior to final connect on outside plant. Set up VDSL gateway on CAT3, 5, fiber or coaxial medium. Configured P.C., or Apple laptops/desktops on wireless encryption for HSIA (high speed internet access). Tested all circuits with Sunrise DSL meter. Tested signal and noise loss across VDSL service, and verified parameters in conjunction with telephone service prior to installation.
