Daily Duties at Bae Systems:
The Senior Network Analyst II responsible for advanced triage on secure circuits and network devices throughout the BAE infrastructure for DoD (Department of Defense) / BAE sensitive and confidential resources. Maintaining classified traffic to and from classified DOD/BAE locations and subsidiaries. Responsible for troubleshooting network and network security devices including encrypted port and interface configurations up to and including hardware replacement via Cisco TAC for all Cisco ISR’s, Cisco ASR’s, WAAS (series 2911) and Cisco FWs (series 5500). Conducted Cisco RMA processes for varied Cisco network hardware platforms, including Cisco 2500, 2600, 6700 series routers with Cisco IOS vs. 15.x. Worked in conjunction with ISP and LECs (Verizon/ ATT/Frontier/Windstream) with maintaining SLA for MPLS circuits (T1/T3/DS/OC and MUXs) devices. Configured and monitored port-channel assignments for Cisco Nexus 7k and 9k switches, including configurations for virtual hosts after assisting DC tech with installation of fiber channels and FEXs using Cisco APIC application to verify switch health and functionality. Work in conjunction with Borderless, Edge, SWAT, SHIELD, VOIP and UNIX teams with implementation of infrastructure design, event management and intrusion detection. Isolated and triaged network integrity using Wireshark, Statseeker, Plixer Scrutinizer, Cisco APIC/Prime/WAAS Manager and Net Brain.
