Daily Duties at Pitney Bowes:
• Supporting the existing supply chain environment. Working with the onsite and offshore teams to ensure production issues are closed as per critical support SLAs • Acting as a liaison between the business users and the support teams to communicate problems and resolutions • Collecting business requirements and developing system proposals and specifications for new capabilities • Leading transformational SCM project teams to ensure the successful implementation of new IT initiatives on schedule and within budget • Working with business and internal information technology management and staff to scope, allocate resources, and prioritize department projects and efforts • Evaluating new technology products and partners; participate in assessment and selection of purchased software applications • Building relationships and interacting with external vendors as and when required • Participating in strategic planning for internal information technology as appropriate, providing insight to technical solutions that may be leveraged to provide first quartile business performance
