Daily Duties at Nex Tech Communications:

As a Chief Business Development Officer my role was to deliver over $97mm in annualized revenues. I started at $67mm when I was introduced to the opportunity. My duties consisted of the following: Provide leadership to the Inside Sales teams, outside sales teams, Wireless Sales teams, Directory Services team, Video Production team, Classifieds Advertising team, Mobile radio team, sales engineering team and the Carrier/Wholesale team. Provided updates to the Executive Leadership TEAM on revenue progress, employee status of new employees, new positions posted and filled as well filled positions. Provided daily direction to my direct reports of four. Director of marketing and advertising. Director of Sales, Carrier access manager and administrative assistant. Conducted weekly team leadership calls or face to face meetings to review the weeks accomplishments as well as the "plan" for the following week. Provided Vision and Direction for revenue growth for the company and who we were to accomplish that growth. Mentored new employees as well as college interns. Was the Public Relations "face" for the company Responsible for revenue, marketing activity in all lines of business as well as the companies focus for success of the companies growth trajectory. Daily duties consisted of numerous daily scheduling and meeting appointments from the Hays, KS office as well as my Wichita, KS office. Weekly face to face Executive Management meetings to discuss my plans to create success for the company Provided a monthly Board Packet powerpoint to the Board of Directors that included Sales on all levels, marketing costs and plan, operational costs for team of 89+-, Provided goals, projections for revenues, as well as market strategy. Overall responsible for creating enough revenue to support the companies Operational expenses.
