Daily Duties at Husqvarna:
• Developed and implemented a Supplier Development program, which was very successful. Reduced PPM from over 20,000 to less than 500. • Visit and audit suppliers – their processes and procedures to match ISO 9001 requirements and issue CAR’s where needed. • With buy out of Dixon, find and coordinated with Suppliers, who would meet our requirements of dozens – 100’s of different steel fabricated parts to turn around and produce in 10 working days. We had 30 days to move Dixon Mower Manufacturing into our facility. • Gave monthly reports in Power Point presentations to upper management on internal and supplier Quality performances. • Part of product development teams on new products / projects utilizing MS Project. • Handle day to day issues between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers. • Preformed print reviews before release to verify prints were specified to verification. • Develop and implement internal processes and procedures. • Verify dimensions with a variety of measuring equipment, including CMM. • Requested and reviewed QMS, PPAP’s, APQP’s, FMEA’s, CAR’s, PA’s, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and any other documentation as needed.
