Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:
• Established good working relationships with global service contract leaders and other account executives from HP Enterprise Services account teams • Successfully facilitated global procurement (GP) relations with various General Motors account teams and regions • Researched account requirements and consistently applied GP strategies to meet corporate objectives • Actively promoted early GP involvement in projects while educating the accounts on GP standards, policies, and procedures to the benefit of both the corporation and the accounts • Worked with the accounts to derive forecasts for spend by category and interfaced with GP category teams and cost leadership. Consistently implementing GP savings initiatives against forecasts, always meeting or exceeding our targets. • I was on point to address unique account requirements such as negotiating customer specific provisions with suppliers, work software license transfer issues, divestiture activities, and contractual research (e.g. GM Software flow downs,V29 Contract Labor Flow Downs and V29 Staff Augmentation or Tier 3 flow downs) • Negotiated with suppliers in support of GM account requirements
