Independent Dialysis Foundation Work Values

Daily Duties at Independent Dialysis Foundation:

RN trained in hemodialysis in Baltimore for 8 weeks and completed orientation with an “A” on my exam. Have been Charge Nurse ever since. Also work at Calvert Memorial Hospital as an acute dialysis nurse in ICU and in our dialysis suite in the hospital. I assist my Director with management tasks, audits and preparing for surveys. I also run Quality Assurance Reports and follow up on training staff re: policy and procedures and continual education. Was the super user for our new computer system CV5 and trained all the staff on using it and pulling reports off of it for our Patient Care Meetings. Also the Charge RN responsible for the Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition audits, reporting and input for policy and procedure changes. I continually work on ways of improving pt care through different strategies and monitor their outcomes.
