Daily Duties at Dr. G.D. Morgan And Associates:
Managed 2 dental offices, one adult practice in Mechanicsville and one pediatric practice in Charlotte Hall. Sent all electronic dental claims to the insurance companies. I was in charge of all the accounts receivable. I posted all payments to the pt’s ledgers and sent billing statements. I also negotiated with the insurance companies to get better fee schedules for our dentists. I completed all pt billing, resubmitted claims that were denied and did the adjustments on pt accounts. I implemented a process to ensure that we collected all co pays and account balances before the pt was put in the chair for treatment. I also validated their insurance benefits the day ahead of their appointment to ensure they could receive covered dental care. I managed 40+ staff members. Was in charge of creating their work schedules and completing their payroll. Also created a budget for both offices. Managed all issues in both practices.
