• Participate in design process, lending insight into manufacturability of new designs, • Quantify improvements in a technical manufacturing and/or assembly facility, • Coordinate the building and testing of production prototypes, • Transition products from Engineering to Manufacturing and address any issues, • Liaise between Quality, Engineering and Operations teams to resolve production problems and implement design improvements, • Coordinate the design, construction, and implementation of test and assembly fixtures as needed, • Gather and interpret data from Test protocols, • Broad understanding of design and assembly production engineering with experience in New Product Introduction, • “Hands-on” fabrication capabilities. Rigid, sheet metal, polymers, • Familiar with machine tools, fixtures, welding(MIG, TIG, STICK, VACUUM) and soldering, • Experience in Design Engineering, automation, and/or robotics, • Able to create and share customizable gantt charts and real time dashboards for optimum key component, critical path management., • Resource/time/cost matrix interpretation and integration., Electrical and machine design., • System design within an integrated manufacturing/business space., • Work flow analysis with binary variances to project scope., • Analysis of existing processes/practices, for the purpose of evaluation and determination, in a continuous improvement environment. , • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by applying Lean Six Sigma and KEISAN techniques and practices, • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and design layouts of equipment, and workspace for maximum efficiency to improve quality, lower costs, and increase efficiency, • Monitor manufacturing processes for continuous improvement and corrective action, • Conceive, develop, refine and implement repeatable and efficient processes, • Adept at seeing possible opportunities for improvement in processes, productivity, and tools, • Identify and establish in-process testing methods, • Determine relevant production DATA and document, • Agile infrastructure and management of numerous personnel and tasks (eg. Marketing, accounting, finance, business, trades/crafts, engineering and scientists) throughout the planning, procurement and execution of fiscal projects.
