Daily Duties at Morgan Stanley:
Served as Project Leader, Business Analyst, and Developer and directed and provided technical support for the conversion of the personally developed internal trading system for the Liquidity group to the Black Rock system. Ensured all overnight processes were completed successfully and rapidly identified and corrected issues. Created Perl and KSH scripts and maintained Java code in support of the conversion of the rest of the Fixed Income group to Black Rock. Created all database tables, views, and stored procedures and scripts required to maintain data used for in house reporting and analysis. Reviewed conversion to Black Rock with portfolio managers, traders and operations staff, identified their reporting needs and created reports, and trained users how to run the reports. Managed off-shore team. • Led the conversion of the in-house trading system to Black Rock vendor based software. • Built and maintained interfaces between internal systems and vendor based software. • Ensured consistent global vision through effective translation of information and concepts for personnel of diverse cultures. • Provided comprehensive training for Level 1 support staff focused on supporting all personally created interfaces.
