Daily Duties at Fleming Companies:
Managed total sales of $1.4 billion between two distribution centers: Sacramento and Fresno, CA. Managed 35 associates in Category Management/Purchasing department and 11 Outside Sales associates. Serviced over 300 chain and independent grocery retailers. Responsible for daily gross profit, daily service level, supervised three independent ad groups, achieving planned inventory turns for both distribution centers, reporting directly to Division Presidents with period P/L results, responsible for new item revenue, planning and successfully facilitating annual buying/trade show. Work with E3 purchasing software on a daily basis.
