Daily Duties at Harbor Freight Tools:
Comprehensive multi-store portfolio manager driving $135+ million in annual district sales and grow YOY same store sales. Hire, train and develop leadership teams and oversee development of approximately 700 associates at 17 store locations and manage staffing levels to meet the needs of the business and company objectives. Develop annual P&L forecasts and provide quarterly business reviews to executive leadership team. Provide SAR action plans on achievements and opportunities. Oversee Company initiative rollouts within district - develop implementation action plan and validation matrix to achieve on-time execution at every store location. Work with Real Estate and New Store Construction teams to select new store sites and hire new store teams prior to store set up. Grow Company membership programs at each store location, provide stores with comparative district operational analytics results. Investigate all customer praises and complaints contacting customers for feedback/resolution. Grow Name Collection in every store location. Develop daily written communication to district celebrating sales wins within the district and provide communication updates on company initiatives in progress. Develop monthly calendar detailing purpose driven store visits. Provide store visit action reports to leave with store as well as to inform leadership above District level. Partner with Human Resources on all reviews, succession planning, training and development, staffing guidance levels, investigative opportunities. Partner with Loss Prevention on all shrink activity and investigative opportunities when necessary. Validate execution protocol on all company go to market initiatives at each store location. Drive sales for 5 major Parking Lot Sale events annually through forecasting event sales, validating execution of merchandising set up plans, validate proper scheduling to cover set up, front end coverage, directed customer service coverage on sales floor, daily replenishment, and event clean-up.
